The CLEARING FUNCTION is used to even out the tonality of the skin through the disintegration of melanin or alterations of pigmentation which cause "white spotting" and/or dyschromia.

This function is completed using three pre-programmed cycles:

1. Preparation for clearing: The removal of melanin accumulation in the outermost skin layers. In many cases, dyschromia disappears after the first cycle.

2. Disintegration: The "elastic wave" induces the breakdown of melanin by transmitting vibrations to the areas of accumulation.

3. Removal: As a result of the disintegration of the melanin and the acceleration of the vital processes in the dermis and epidermis, the smaller particles tend to migrate to toward the surface of the skin for easy removal.

Beyond Microdermabrasion: Standard microdermabrasion is not intended or used for pigmentary disorders. It will not provide disintegration, it only removes dead skin cells. It will not break up accumulation or packets of melanin.
